Amplify Colombia, the Colombian network of teachers using ICTs, has developed a series of video tutorials related to social networks. This network, an initiative of the Ministry of Education and the University of Antioquia, has among its aims to sensitize and orient the teachers around the country in the management of web tools for building communities of practice in the context of their participation in a network of teachers. In that sense, redTIC Colombia has developed and published 4 video tutorials, teaching modules that address the use of certain Internet tools to facilitate interaction and communication networks. The training modules cover the following topics: Practice: This module presents some elements to understand more clearly the importance of actively participating in social networks, emphasizing in this creation and the revitalization of communities of practice-oriented learning and teaching activities. • Facebook
: the basic elements in the management of Facebook, with emphasis on how their use can enhance participation in social networks, by reference redTIC Colombia. It also proposes the creation of communities of practice and interest groups through this tool, pointing to its usefulness in the context of teaching.

Twitter : Showing basic elements of this tool, answering simple questions such as what it is, what it does and how to interact with other members of social networks by writing messages of only 140 characters long.

• Other Tools: This module explores the tools, YouTube, Linkedin, Xing, Flickr, and shows how the media can serve to strengthen ties that are created within social networks and to boost activities in the classroom. The video tutorials can be viewed on this channel Livestream.
