"The Historian" is without doubt one of the most addictive readings to which I have been exposed in 2010. The plot revolves around a line of historians and the search for the tomb of Dracula and being that supposedly rests on it. That search, which covers roughly from the late '30s to the '70s, the protagonists will have to travel large number of European countries which Indiana Jones, even more than countries that are run through libraries.

What best taste I've left the work itself is completely moving away from the cliches to which we are accustomed to the vampire genre Draculino and in particular whether the format is: film, TV, comics, novels, etc. .. I say this because the book has almost no fantasy elements with few exceptions and immerses us in the search for the vampire Dracula through rigorous research historical figure of Prince Vlad Tepes " Drakul " of Wallachia. That is why I believe that the novel is closer to the works of Dan Brown not the "Dracula " by Bram Stoker .

If you like Dan Brown , Indiana Jones or other works of historical mysteries is certainly I play catch. Another positive aspect of the book is that it manages to convey to the reader the need to read and love reading and research through reading as any other work I've read has managed to convey. And every time I closed the book until the next day, felt the need to get into any library to sniff pending at any time lift the head of my cubicle to find deposited there an ancient and mysterious book.
