should start by saying I've always been a big fan of Blade, Tomb of Dracula and other series characters and mystical aura that surrounded the hallmark of the House of ideas. When the announcement came out of this series (if not published in Spain) I do not think twice: Blade and Chaykin in the same comic?? I'll buy it! Thus it was that was accumulated to the number nine (not in that number ended.) Hojeandolos without reading and only occasionally I decide to leave because I felt that this was not the Chaykin that I liked ... error and go!. I think it was when I read these numbers for a month or month and a half that I realized my mistake. The truth is that it is a show like the top of a pine and I'll no doubt that the numbers that I need sooner or later.

We are in a clearly structured long term, with a strong creative team with a horizon to be addressed. The purpose of this series was nothing less than the Blade reintroduce back into the Marvel Universe . Remember in the '90s such Marvel characters , mystical and supernatural character, practically living in a mini universe itself. That if they were in the Marvel Universe and everything you quieraaaaa but were involved in the move of the Sons of Midnight and all that story and many remained there. As I said this series tries to return to the Blade of Marvel superheroes, but that does not mean that they do not have vampires and other creatures of the night. So the series will see marching Shield, the Dr Death to Spider-Man to Wolverine, a Union Jack , etc. among others.

The story basically revolves around Blade and the search for his father while his father was looking for it for their very evil that I will not detail so as not to spoil anything to anyone ... I only say that Blade the very hard time passing. This adorned with flashbacks that transport us to a not too distant past and allows us to get to know more things about the origins of Blade and who was his father and what happened.

As the creative team I've said before, I'm wrong and judge the book by its cover. Guggenheim shows that it has clear ideas along the 9 numbers and get us enjoy from beginning to end. There is much black humor, a lot of bad milk, bad very HDP and I, the most bastard Blade I've seen to date. On pencils, Chaykin whose work in Blade have not learned to appreciate so far. I was in the head of Chaykin American Flagg of Black Kiss, etc. and this work saw its 4 nearest numbers Challengers of the Unknown than those mentioned above. And in Challengers of the Unknown if I abhorred. In colors, Delgado also performed a superb job and get the right tones in each frame. I forgot to mention that the covers were made by Marko Djurdjevic and are to drool worthy so cute and almost all of them framing.

If you like Blade but do not know whether to buy this series, do not hesitate ... compradla that it deserves, but 10, a very very high note.
